For a sixth Child's Play film they are thinking of remaking the first film then rebooting the series

A thug named Charles Lee Ray gets shot by cops and chants a voodoo spell as he's dying so that he can posses another body but he doesn't realize that he is right next to a doll factory so his spirit possesses a 'good guy' doll which is stolen and sold to a woman that gives it to her son on Christmas. The doll "Chucky" wants to possess the little boy and kills any one that gets in his way.

The Production Budget for Child's Play 2 was $13,000,000.

Don Mancini created the film series of Child's Play, which is better known as Chucky. The films started in 1988 in six installments, with the most recent being in 2012.
