The Goo Goo Dolls consist of three members:
John Rzeznik - lead vocals, guitar
Robby Takac - bass, vocals
Mike Malinin - drums
Instruction #3: Allow the repair to dry for 24 hours. Depending on the material and the temperature, maximum strenth may not be reached for 48 to 72 hours.
You won't find it on any CD by the Goo Goo Dolls because they have never covered the song, the version that people commonly mistake to be the Goo Goo Dolls is the LP version of the song and it is performed by Edwin Mccain. The song the Goo Goo Dolls covered is "I'll Be There For You" which was originally done by The Rembrandts and the GGD covered it for the Series Finale of Friends. If you want that version of the song just look for the slowed Acoustic Version of it, since people don't typically put$ LP Version on P2P servers or Youtube. That version is also on the Wedding Songs version 2 cd, and it is by Edwin Mccain. Not the GGD.
No. That is Edwin McCain you're thinking of, and the song is called "I'll Be."
It is not a bad song. iris is so rad its bad
The band is named after a toy. The band needed a name and was looking through a True Detective magazine and saw the add for "Goo Goo Dolls".
I think its D-DUDU but im not exactly sure, try it out and see how it sounds
The Lyrics to "Sympathy" By the Goo Goo Dolls:
Stranger than your sympathy
And this is my apology
I killed myself from the inside out
And all my fears have pushed you out
And I wished for things that I don't need
(All I wanted)
And what I chased won't set me free
(All I wanted)
And I get scared but I'm not crawlin' on my knees
Oh, yeah
Everything's all wrong, yeah
Everything's all wrong, yeah
Where the hell did I think I was?
And stranger than your sympathy
Take these things, so I don't feel
I'm killing myself from the inside out
And now my head's been filled with doubt
We're taught to lead the life you choose
(All I wanted)
You know your love's run out on you
(All I wanted)
And you can't see when all your dreams aren't coming true
Oh, yeah
It's easy to forget, yeah
When you choke on the regrets, yeah
Who the hell did I think I was?
And stranger than your sympathy
And all these thoughts you stole from me
And I'm not sure where I belong
And no where's home and no more wrong
And I was in love with things I tried to make you believe I was
And I wouldn't be the one to kneel before the dreams I wanted
And all the dark and all the lies were all the empty things disguised as me
Mmm, yeah
Stranger than your sympathy
Stranger than your sympathy
Mmm hmmm mmm
Following are the Goo Goo Dolls' birthdates. The band formed in 1986.
John Rzeznik, born December 5, 1965
Robby Takac, born September 30, 1964
Mike Malinin (drummer 1995-2013), born October 10, 1967
George Tutuska (drummer 1986-1994), born February 1965
When the Goo Goo Dolls formed in the mid-80's, they called themselves 'The Sex Maggots'. A club owner wasn't able to promote the band under that name, so if the band wanted to keep the gig, they had to change their name. They had to find a new name quickly, so they chose the name Goo Goo Dolls when they saw an ad for a 'Goo Goo Doll' in a True Detective magazine. John Rzeznik, the band's lead singer, has often said that he hates the band's name, and that if he had had five more minutes, he would have chosen something better.
white glue (approximately 1/4 cup)
borax (1 tsp) (This is found in the laundry detergent aisle of most supermarkets.)
plastic bags, sandwich size
food coloring
plastic cups (2)
wooden craft sticks (3)
measuring cups and spoons
water
Procedure
1. Measure ¼ cup of white glue and pour it into one of the disposable plastic cups.
2. Measure ¼ cup of water and pour it into the same cup with the glue.
3. Use a wooden craft stick to stir until the glue is mixed with the water. If you wish to color your slime, add a few drops of food coloring at this point and stir more.
4. In a second plastic cup, measure a cup of water.
5. Add 1 teaspoon of borax to the cup with water. Use another craft stick to stir the solution until the borax dissolves in the water.
6. Carefully pour the borax solution into the glue solution. Stir with another craft stick.
7. If you want, you can remove the slime from the cup and feel it with your fingers. As you play with it.
You can keep your slime in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for several days, if you wish.
This works great! Enjoy :)
It's about distance, aboutt obstacles, and how those are nothing compare to love,'cause somehow they feel each other, drowning themselves in passion and sincerity, bleeding in the inside, 'cause what they fell just make them to be alive, but's something nobody would understand, how they can break the rules, how we can break tyhe whole world with a feeling, two hearts beating at the same time, at the same rythm......
From my understanding, it is a small approximately 3 or 4 feet tall super natural being that is an evil presence. But I am still trying to find out more. I have a co worker who claims to see them often around the area of her and her neighbors yard. She hates them. They show up as black figures and are evil, almost like little demonic things, so if you see one watch out, pray to keep them away from your family they are up to no good.

John Rzeznik and Melina Gallo married on July 26, 2013. They have been together since 2005. This is John's second marriage.
Personally, i get the feeling that they're not dedicated christians but do believe in God (they mention prayer and other religious themes in their song better days). I read a pretty good review about the band explaining that most of their music is about relationships, which could be faulty or painful (these relationships being guy-girl for the most part).
John Rzenik (lead singer & song writer) seems to write about relationships that don't work out and the solution he comes up with for moving on in life.
John Rzeznik is, in fact, a Catholic =] (and yes, I know that is a form of Christianity, just thought I'd make your answer more accurate =D )
John Rzeznik was raised in a Catholic family, and attended Catholic school. It is unknown if he still practices Catholicism today.
