The River Ki (紀ノ川 Kinokawa?) is one of the best-known novels by Japanese writer Sawako Ariyoshi. It was published by Chuokoronsha in 1959 and has since been translated into English and republished. Set in Wakayama prefecture, the novel's focus is on three generations of women representing modern Japanese history.
