Treasury Workstation

Banking Dictionary: Treasury Workstation

Cash-management term for computer hardware and software systems that handle corporate treasury functions (such as managing cash, debt, and investment services), access to capital markets, and risk management. Treasury workstations enable corporations to communicate seamlessly over the Internet with their cash management banks, other financial institutions, and their customers or suppliers. Workstations increase the reliability of financial reporting and decision making by reducing, if not eliminating, the repetitive handling of time-sensitive financial data.
