Bad plugs, or plug wires.
Blown head gasket, or burnt valve.
If you are loosing coolant with no apparent leak you may have a blown head gasket. Sweet smell at the exhaust is another sign of blown gasket. If none of that applies, replace the plugs and go from there.
If they are the same engine size, they are interchangeable. I would not put a fuel pump from a V6 on a 4 cylinder, and vica-versa. The Malibus from 97-02 all have interchangeable parts

try checking your 02 sensors
You have to reach around and grab the chage, and twist.
Check the fuse
They are screwed into the exhaust system / pipes. There will not be any after the muffler. They are about 3 to 4 inches long with electrical wire's coming out of the top of them.
