Why would your blinkers blink twice as fast as normal and your horn does not work and the water pressure is very weak on the wipers?
I don't know why, but my car is doing this too!! it is a 2003 Pontiac grand am 4 cyl. If you get an answer, PLEASE let me know!!!
It depends on what part is broke and what year the vehicle is. You may just have to replace the flasher or the light bulb. If it is the cam then the steering wheel will have to be removed to access the cam. The part can be found at most auto parts stores in the HELP section
If a 1986 Chevy Cavalier z24 blinkers blink fast or stay on or do nothing and the park and dashboard lights come on when you step on the brake could it be the computer chip is going bad?
As a former owner of an '86 Z24, I can tell you the factory had MASSIVE problems with the computer chip for the dash display, and my entire dash electronics were replaced soooo many times under warranty that the dealer stopped giving me a service slip on it ... he was afraid I'd demand a new car und…er the state's Lemon Law. The problem was successfully addressed (to my knowledge) in the next model year.. I'd bet you're dealing with the problem, as the symptoms you're describing are very similar.. Answer . I would try simply checking the light bulbs to the blinkers and park brakes ect. before I started thinking about computers. (Of course this if you havent already) A blown bulb will cause irregular blinking in the turn signals, and/or a short in a wire leading to those bulbs. Other than that, I would not know about the computer being the cause. You could call your local Chevy Dealership and ask them over the phone what they thought.. Answer . I would sugggest you replace the turn signal flasher. It should be located on or around the steering column under the dash. It is probably worn out.. make sure u put the right bulb in there the wrong bulb will make the parking light come on with the brakes ( Full Answer )
Why would the left side taillights blink normal and the right side taillights blink fast on a 1998 Chevy Blazer?
Answer . That usually means one or more of the bulbs is not working. Check for bad bulbs or bad ground wire or socket.

Answer . \nYou have an electrical fault somewhere i would take it to an auto elictrican
Answer . \nCheck all of your turn signal bulbs. One of them may be burned out.
Check all of your blinker lights. There are two in each tail light, one in each center signal, and one at the corner of each headlight, a total of 8 lights should blink when you have the flashers on. If a bulb is burnt out, it will increase the blink rate. Also, installing LED's in the tail lights w…ill cause the blink rate to increase. ( Full Answer )
The average human eye blink takes between 300 and 400 milliseconds. That's between 3/10th and 4/10ths of a second. See related link. The average blink rate, which measures how many times in a given period the average adult blinks, is around 10 blinks a minute, but this varies quite a bit based on… the individual, and things like medications and nervous disorders. What could be the problem to make your back right blinker blink fast only when you have your lights are on and not off All bulbs are good and connections checked?
Answer . Replace the flasher relay. Can also be a weak ground connection at the RR connection. Good Luck as these are sometimes very difficult to find.
How do you fix a blinker that is blinking twice as fast as the other and bulbs are changed as well as fuses are too?

What is wrong when my blinker and brake lights do not work in the drivers side rear and the front blinker on the drivers side blinks 2 to 3 times to fast on a 2001 cavalier ls.?
Your drivers side rear bulb needs replaced. Open the trunk, unscrew little plastic black thing on left side, to pull back carpeting, follow wires going to light socket, grab the plastic that the wire go into and turn a little bit, it will come out and you will see the bulb, Pull the bulb out.
Answer . If the right blinker is blinking really fast, it means that there is a turn signal bulb on the right side that is burned out. (coulod be either front or rear)
Why would your blinker start blinking really fast and both of the brake lights go out on a 2003 Ford F150 Truck?
Answer . i don't know if it is a Ford thing, but my dodge did somewhat the same thing... my blinker would flash very fast on the dash and it turned out that my bulbs were out in the rear (maybe that is the problem and your brake lights are connected). That bulb is burnt out. When the circuit is not completed like with a blown bulb, the flasher unit will blink faster to let the driver know something is wrong with that side. It should only be faster with the side that is burnt out.
This vehicle requires a scan tool to program the remote, a dealer or locksmith will have to do it.
Check to see if any of your front or back turn signal bulbs are not working.. It's either a bad bulb or the turn signal/ hazard flasher relay in your fuse box.

The major factor is a light that is burnt out. It might be a backup light or a break light. Turn your hazards on,walk around and make sure they ALL light. If you have replaced a bulb recently, then make sure that the wattages are all correct. The system won't have enough load to cycle the flash…er.Check all the bulbs to make sure they are right ( Full Answer )
No it means you have your left blinker on. The right bulbs have nothing to do with the left blinker. An incandescent bulb either works or it doesn't. There is no dying out.
This could mean that one of your bulbs is blown on that side. Check and replace the blown bulb.
There is a short in the system somehwere. If they blink normally without the trailor, check the trailor lights, sockets or wiring. If they blick fast all of the time, one of your bulbs is burnt out - change it and they will blink at normal speed.. Everything is fine without the trailer, the trailer… is new(does not mean much) but just found that my hazard system works fine with the trailer, which leads me to directional flasher could be bad. Will check and post.... There are two flasher cans, I had changed out the emergency flasher thinking it was the directional, changed out defective directional flasher and all is well. Thanks againl ( Full Answer )
If it is in the rear of the car it is really simple. Just gently unscrew the plastic cap completely off. Remove the cloth covering over the light inside the trunk. This will give you access to the bulb unit. Gently turn and pull the unit out and pull out old bulb and replace new. Make sure to snap t…he bulb and unit back in place securly otherwise the bulb will shake loose.. It might take a little effort to pull out the bulb unit but keep persisting. The bulb only cost a few dollars so it is well worth it doing it yourself. If it is a front bulb then I would refer to your owner manual as this is a little more tricky. Hope that helps ( Full Answer )

Left turn signal in front blinks real fast and the rear bulb has been replaced. Why does the blinker in the rear still not work?
have you replaced the flasher? Did you use the correct bulb, when you replaced it? Check your fuses there may be a problem there as well.
The blinker relay is broken. It is located inside the hazard switch. Replace the switch and it will fix your problem.
When blinker is blinking too fast it usually means one of your turn signal bulbs are burnt out. Check if bulbs are working. If not replace blown bulb.
Most blinker circuits do not flash if one bulb is burned out. If the bulbs are all OK then the flasher is probably bad.
often the blinker is made to blink faster when there is a bulb burned out
Open up the trunk\n. \nreach back directly behind the light and unscrew the plastic luggage tie that holds the carpet up\n. \nPull the carpet back\n. \ntwist the plastic with the wires coming out of it one way or another\n. \nand it will pull out and then you can snap the light out and put a new… one in\n. \nremember it only goes back in a certain way because of the grooves on the light housing itself ( Full Answer )
There are actually 2 bulbs in each tail light. Most likely, one of these bulbs is burned out which causes the blinker to blink much faster. Unless you look very carefully, you can't even tell that one is burned out since the other is probably still working.
08 dodge ram 2500 flashers blink to fast after installing led blinkers even with a trailer hooked up?
You need a different Flasher Relay. I cannot tell you which one, as you have gone to a non-stock configuration. You need a relay with more resistance.. The 2008 Ram doesn't have a flasher relay. The lights are controlled by the TIPM ( the computer on the underhood fuse box ). You will need to add a… resistor to the led lights to bring the total resistance up to the same amount that the normal bulbs have if you want it to flash at the normal rate. ( Full Answer )
Try to use the Chevrolet speaker adapters plugs so you don't need to cut wires and mess up the electric system, you can get those from eBay or amazon
Check the front blinker bulb to see if it is indeed flashing when it is turned on...In my 2004 Malibu, fast flashing indicates that a front blinker bulb has burned out.
What if your blinkers do not blink they just stay on do you have to replace the electronic flasher if so where is it located on a 2002 Chevy cavalier?
Most of the time, a non-blinking turn signal simply means that one of your turn signal bulbs is not working. On many cars, the non-working bulb may not be obvious, i.e. it could be one of the small side marker lights rather than a front or rear turn signal bulb, so look carefully.
The light is out or dying. CHange your lightbulb so you don't get a ticket! Always keep a spare.
This is an indication you have a bulb burnt out on the side the blinker is blinking real fast.
In many cars, a solid turn signal illumination means that a bulb needs to be replaced. if they don't light at all, it could be a bad connection. wear gloves if you try to inspect the wireing. but you may want to go to a mechanic if a new bulb doesn't fix the problem. ------------------------… The first thing to check is ...do your hazard flashers work ? If the hazard flashers work then you are not dealing with bad bulbs or a bad connection. 1st - check the blinker fuse 2nd - check or replace the flasher unit. I usually take the flasher unit out of the hazard flashers and swap it with the blinker flasher unit. (if the hazard flashers worked then that flasher unit is good) You can find the flasher unit by listening for and following the blinking noise. 3rd - usually at this point i end up replacing the turn signal unit. I have replaced many bad flasher units in my time. ( Full Answer )
The signal flasher relay may be at fault, swap it with the emergency flasher relay to see.
My first gues would be that you've used a bulb with the wrong wattage. There are some dual-filament bulbs that can be inserted the wrong way.
The right side blinker on your BMW 2001 325i starts blinking out really fast then slows down to normal is this normal?
A poor earth could be the problem here, or a bulb incorrectly fitted, but also a faulty flasher relay could be held responsible.
On a 1999 Olds Intrigue what's the fix for hazard lights and one blinker to work fine but other blinks twice as fast and front light doesn't flash at all?
Check to see if the bulb that does not flash is going bad, or is burnt out.
The crank shaft has a mark that goes on the chane because the chane has 3 marks or colored junctions wich goe in every sprokett look for the tdc on first piston see the valve location and turn engine 2 times before starting to make shure is in proper place
First be sure to check all fuses. If OK, then a common cause is actually the hazard switch. This is also the turn signal flasher. Try ressing in very lightly on the hazard button and see if the turn signals start to work. Of press button on and off very quickly and harchly several times, then try th…e turn signals. doesn't stop blinking until you turn the wheel and the make the tires straight again
Usually one of two things happen when the resistance of a blinker circuit changes (as would be caused by, say, a bulb burning out or a short in the circuit): either it doesn't blink at all, or it blinks really fast. So the first thing I'd check would be to make sure that the bulb is lighting the wa…y it's supposed to. ( Full Answer )
Common sign of a bad flasher. It is a relay that plugs into fuse box. Usually electrical or thermally controlled, also controls speed of blinks.
