If it's got Power Steering it's the servo pump that bogs down the engine when the steering is pushing against the stops.
Check power steering fluid first, then take it to the shop if it is full.
I'm excited to be going to the fiesta. The fiesta will have a mariachi band and lots of great food.
engine rebuilds can be costly more than a fiesta mk4 may be worth! you may be better going to you local scrap yard/breakers and buying a used engine. some yards may even remove yours and replace it with a good one for a minimal cost. They will keep your alternator, power steering pump etc, just replace the main block. Either way its going to cost possibly more than the cars worth!
Fill the power steering reservoir until the dipstick in it reads full.
its the relay's in the engine, they flip to allow full power to go to starter, it would not be safe to that kind of voltage going threw your steering column
It is on the driver side of the engine block next to the power steering pump.
The squealing could be that you need to add power steering fluid. Also you should check the belt that operates the power steering pump, if bad replace it. If the power steering pump is full and the belt is ok, then you may need to replace the power steering pump.
On the 2.3 Quad 4 Skylark engine the power steering pump is at the front of the engine block behind the radiator, Usualy where you would see the oil dipstick. The cap should say power steering fluid. Check the dipstick that is on the cap, and fill until the dipstick reads full.
probably moisture, not good Oil level over full
its the cv joint it gives a click, click, click noise on full lock sometimes pushing grease into them helps but usually needs replacing.
your engine is either too full of crankcase oil or you Are on the side of a hill too steep to operate engine on, or#3 YOUR RINGS ARE SHOT
Power steering pump failing.
