Belgian made @ turn of the century; value 50-100 or so
Some guns cannot be dated due to lack of information. Yours is one.
you cannot remove it. it is all in one with the receiver frame
This cannot be answered without a more detailed description of your shotgun. Is your shotgun a semi-auto,over under, pump action, single shot? What markings are on your shotgun? What is the barrel length?
Yes and no. The yes comes from simple fact, if the projectile can move down the barrel, it can be fired. I've seen .221 Fireballs fired out of a 7TCU barrel. The no is because you cannot do it well. In effect, if you shoot a slug down a smooth bore shotgun barrel, you will have little in the way of accuracy. Slugs should be shot from a slug barrel, and shot from a smooth bore.
The value cannot be given unless you state the model of your shotgun and its overall condition, with the info you have already posted.
All states must conform with Federal statutes. A shotgun cannot have a barrel shorter than 18 inches, or an overall length shorter than 26 inches.
The barrel of this shotgun simply cannot be removed. It is screwed in and requires a barrel vice and the appropriate wrench. The trigger group can be removed by means of the pin at the back of the receiver, which would allow for easier access to the barrel, but this is a complicated process and is not recommended. Nothing can be removed from the J.C. Higgins Model 20 to help clean it, unfortunately.
You haxe a Ithaca model Flues double barrel shotgun which was made in the year 1917,by the serial number you have provided. As to value that cannot be determined without a more detailed description of the shotgun in question,to include gauge, barrel length, double trigger or single. It would also help if you describe the overall condition of this shotgun to include the amount of blueing remaining and the condition of the wood.
No, you cannot, unless a dedicated. 30-30 barrel is provided and used.
With the serial number that you have supplied, your Winchester model 12 shotgun was made in the year 1947.A value cannot be established without a more detailed description of your shotguns overall condition, and what type of barrel is on your shotgun(plain, solid matte rib,or vent rib barrel).
The legal limit for a shotgun barrel length is at least 18 inches. However, Almost all gun manufacturers make short barrel shotguns to 18.5 inches too solve and measurement dispute that may arise. ADDED; Measured from the muzzle tip to the tip of the stock. the entire overall length of the shotgun cannot be less than 26 inches.
Depends on the laws in your jurisdiction. As we do not know where that is in your case, an answer cannot be given without more information.
