(Assuming your question is serious) Unfortunately, this question has no real answer. Linear feet is a measure of distance along a single dimension. If you use a tape measure to measure along one wall of your living room, for example, you might measure 20 linear feet. In contrast, square feet is a measure of AREA, and represents a quantity defined by TWO dimensions. If you used a tape measure to measure TWO perpendicular walls of your living room, and if each wall were 20 feet long, the AREA in your living room would be 400 square feet. Your question supposes that linear feet is comparable to square feet. It isn't comparable. It is like asking how many apples are in a basket of Oranges? You can't directly compare the two. There are numerous measures of linear distance that can be compared: angstoms, nanometers, microns, millimeters, inches, meters, yards, fathoms, miles, kilometers, light-years, etc. Any of the above linear units may be converted with a little bit of effort and the use of conversion factors you can look up on the web. Similarly, there are many units of area that can be compared: square feet, square inches, square meters, square yard, acres, hectares, square miles, etc. Any of the units of area can be compared with appropriate conversion factors. But you can't convert linear dimensions to area dimensions. They measure different kinds of things. A foot is a measurement for a one-dimensional line. For square feet you need a second dimension, so you cannot convert one to the other.

How many gallons of paint you need to cover 400 square feet if each gallon covers 50 square feet?

2.81 gallons for every 1/100 of an inch thick. Most paints are applied at 4 mils wet, so they usually cover about 400 square foot per gallon. So you'd need about a gallon and a quart to cover 450 square feet.

How many square meters can one paint drum cover?

If your drum is a 55 gallon drum and your paint can cover 400 square feet per gallon then you may cover (one coat only) a square almost 150 by 150 feet.

What is the formula to calculate how many square feet a gallon of paint will cover?

A gallon of paint one coat will cover about 300 square feet; if surface is very smooth about 400 sq ft,and if very rough maybe 150-200 sq feet

How big a area will one gallon of interior latex paint cover?

1 gallon per 400 square feet. However, this will depend on how rough the surface is and how different the current area to be covered is. If it's a smooth surface and you're painting a similar color, 1 gallon should cover 400 sq. feet. But if it's a rough surface or hard color to cover, then 200 sq. feet per gallon.

How many gallons of paint does it take to paint 600 square two coats?

well being a two story home not knowing exact size i would tell you bout 20-25 gallons without ceilings go to affordablepainters.biz to get a quote Figure basically 300 Sq Ft per gallon. This will change depending on how porous the siding is and how many coats you are applying. Paint companies recommend two coats for a first rate job. You may be over or under depending but this is a good rule of thumb. Same for the trim.
