The first step is make you sure that you have a rotary press printing and not the common flat press printing and that the perfs are 11 and not 10. The next step is to get it expertized which means you pay an authority to certify that it is genuine.

I am assuming that it is in good condition. If it is a wreck it may not be worth the cost of expertization.

After you get it expertized you are ready to look for a buyer. Be prepared for a lot of questions about where you found the stamp. This stamp is very rare and a copy from a previously unknown source will attract some attention in the philatelic world especially if one has been reported stolen.

As for selling it, you have some options and I can not tell you which would be best. You could sell it directly to a dealer. There are not very many dealers who deal in stamps this rare but there are more than one and I would get more than one offer. You can put it up for consignment- there are dealers that will try to sell it for you at a commision, of course, if they find a buyer , or

you can put it up for auction with an auction house that sels rate stamps or rare collectibles.
