The silver Peace dollar coin was minted 1921-1928 and 1934-1935; it is the last US coin to be made using silver. Peace dollars average a mass of 26.73 g, of which 90.0% is silver - the remaining 10.0% is copper. As of November 16, 2011, the coin has a melt value of $33.73 USD. A coin in very good condition may be worth around $165; a coin in poor condition is valued around $19.
Take it to a US currency collector.
It's not a Morgan dollar, the last one was made in 1921. The coin is a Peace dollar, look on the back of the coin just above the eagles tail for a small "S" and post a new question with if it has one or not, it makes a BIG difference in value.
1922 is such a common date for silver dollars that the value is only for the silver content. With current silver prices, a '22 Peace dollar is worth about $21. To sell one, either take it to a coin dealer, or post it on eBay.
If you go to a Mint website, you will find the difference between Genuin & Replica. If your coin is Genuin, then is is worth about $1000.00 US dollars. If is a Replica, it is worth $1.00 US dollar.
