sounds like a bad ground. T-Birds have a 2-piece ground wire that connects at the neg. terminal of the battery, side of the block, and bottom of the block. The bottom-of-the-block connection has a habit of degrading over time due to moisture, dirt, etc. I had this same exact problem, and replacing the 2-piece ground wire (and cleaning up each contact surface) solved it. Good luck!!
Hold the power button until it shuts down and then when it has, wait about five minutes. After that, press the power button to start it back up again.
more than likely it is your alternator, have it tested.
How do you remove calipers from a 1987 thunderbird? Like where do I start?

You need to check if your DVD drive has new firmware available. Yes, DVD drives have firmware updates too.
On where you start is totally optional, but it is most beneficial to start on the lowest power, so that you can adjust your magnification from then on to make out the object your trying to see. Start low then work your way to high.
Ford stopped making the Thunderbird in 1997 and didn't start again until after 2000. So you don't have a 1998 Thunderbird.
If this is the remote start system, it shuts down the engine for security.
If you are driving in the daytime, your car will loose power and then turn off. If you try to start it, it will not even crank. That's because once the alternator broke down, the engine was now using the power of the battery to run. And since the battery is not getting charged by the alternator, then the battery runs out of power and everything electrical in the car shuts down. If you are driving at night, your head lights will dim a lot and then your car shuts down. Try to start it and it won't even crank.
I have a1993 Mazda 626 v6 crank wont start and no sparks
