It is possibly the Overdrive Selinoid locatied within the transmission. It's malfunction prevents the transmission from downshifting, thus at low speeds the engin lugs and dies. This is with an automatic transmission.

First, I brlieve 1996 was the last year for the Corsica. To answer your question, locate the hard plastic vacuum line (kinda skinny) that runs from the charcoal canister below the coolant reservoir back along the passenger side of the engine, then turns toward the middle of the back of the engine. It plugs in to the MAP sensor mounted just below and behind the four coil packs. If this is unplugged, it will cause the very behaviour you describe. Jake McCahn
Front of the engine, below the intake.Front of the engine, below the intake.
If you have the V-6 engine it is on the side of the engine block closest to the firewall just above the oil pan about 2 inches up and about middle of the block. This is the crankshaft sensor this car does not have a camshaft sensor On the 4 cylinder it is below the coil pack same side of the engine as the V-6. And again this is a crankshaft sensor not a camshaft sensor. Hope this helps
If the engine is out it's easy. Unfortunately they put so many pieces below the block heater of that model it's almost impossible to change with engine in car.
The after-tax cost of debt will almost always be below
