1988 ford E250 with a 302 it runs good at high idle but low idle it starts running bad wanting to die it runs fine after it warms up but has a lack of power what could it be?

Have fuel pressure checked. May be fuel pump. Change the fuel filter first to see if it helps.

If it starts up with the loss of power, and the engine has to cool down before it runs fine again it could be something electrical that is overheating and breaking down. Check the ignition coils.
