Usually the O-ring gasket for the Distributor leaks on these engines..look at the base of the distributor.. it usually trickles from there. the fix is pretty easy. it is one o-ring gasket that can be replaced by pulling the distributor. Check the oxygen sensor. My 1995 Grand Cherokee stopped stalling while driving after it was replaced.
my 1992 dodge dakota wont stay running it stalls when driving and takes a few minutes to get started but if i wait it will start
Not really enough information, but my 98 Chevy 350 lost power (actually started missing) after heating up. This was caused by the stator in the distributor.
Sure. The displacement achieved by running or driving around a circular track and ending up where you started is zero.
Check your timing belt. It may have broken or jumped a tooth. If it looks worn, replace it, and be sure to retime the sprockets when you do it.
Ignition timing, timing belt/chain, distributor cap... who knows without looking at it?
he was 21 when he first started running
check your time and fuel injecters
get what?
I had same problem. Take apart the distributor and there is a coil or component that looks like one of those portable batteries for hand tools. Its beneath the rotor assemble which all unscrews. Its towatd the bottom of distributor. I replaced coil package? if that was the correct name for $20.00 used and it started right up.
