1989 Oldsmobile run out of gas and now it will not start after putting gas in gas tank.?

You most likely need a new fuel pump. ur pump is probably broke so the engine isn't getting any fuel. when u run ur car low on gas and run it out alot it wears the fuel pump bc its meant to be submerged in gas. a fuel pump for ur car will cost about $80 and alot of work.
