Blown fuse? Bad stoplight switch? Open wire to brake lights
Not ground at brake light sockets? Problem in steering column (turn signal circuitry)?
my back brake lights don't work, but the brake light on the back door does what could be wrong
could very well be brake switch on back of brake pedal. it is located at the top back off pedal, or it could be out of adjustment. check and see if power to back lamps, if not check brake switch.
On a 1989 Acura Integra hatch back the brake lights are reached through the hatch itself. The brake lights housing are on the rear of the vehicle. Unplug the bulbs and replace them.
Um... Aren't all brake lights in the back of a car?
If the car/truck is running, it will not make a difference. However, if there was an electrical short on one of the wires that leads back to the brake lights, it might slowly draw power while the engine is off.
try the brake switch on the back of the brake pedal
On the back of a car there are tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights. Cars also have back up lights that tell people when the car is in reverse.
There are two screws under the back dash that need to be removed to lift the assembly off the back dash. I had a problem with the same car. No brake lights at all. I disconnected the power to the third light and the main two brake lights started to work. There must be a short in the third brake light harness.
check the brake pedal, there is a switch on the back of the pedal that depressed when the brake is depressed that turns the lights on, when this is loose it keeps the lights on.
At the back, obviously :/

running or parking lights, or plate light, but that is singular.
