sometimes u need to let it idle for a few. then put it in gear but keep your foot on the brake. see how much your idle fluctuates. mines got the same problem. i think it could be the throttle positioning sensor but im not positive.
engine stalls at low speed
vacuum leak?
if you have ran out of gas and engine stalls it will through this code
when kick down the gas pedal to accelerate, the car downshift but then stalls and then engine stays rough until i turn off the engine and restart it then the engine runs normal again till the next kick down.
it might be your throttle
Probably a clutch, but might be a problem in the trany.
if you do have gas in the car then it could be the idle control valve. it stops the engine from stalling when the car is stationary
A major clue would be the vehicle stopping.
Check the alternator.
sounds like a vacum leak or the fuel pump is getting weak.
bad fuel pump. Giving gas makes the engine demand more gas. The fuel pump cannot provide for the engine therefore no gas to complete combustion.
I am having the same problem with a 1998 Nissan Altima. The engine runs fine at idle. When you press the gas the car stalls out. I'm down to replacing the gas pump in hopes of fixing this problem.
