I'd check the pressure pressure gauge and sender as well as the electrical connections and grounds. If you can't solve the problem that way, try an after-market oil pressure gauge, if for no other reason than to see if you really DO have an over-pressure condition.
Note, if the oil pressure really is that high it's caused by a sticking regulator. You'll need to pull the pan and get into the regulator assembly to find why it's sticking.
Low fuel pressure
computer fuse blow out when turn ighition on what is the cause
A fuel pressure regulator on a 4.3L can leak undetected but cause the vehicle to fail emissions.
A bad distributor cap, Plug wires, spark plugs,This is not common, but a bad injector could cause a miss too. I would do a tune-up first. If you don't find the problem in the tune-up area, then please ask your question again.
A plugged up fuel filter, a faulty fuel pressure regulator or a faulty fuel pump.
what would cause a oil pressure gauge to fluctuate on my 99 Chevy truck silverado i change the sending unit it does it mostly after it warmed up
YES. Bad fuel pump pressure can cause that problem too.
I would suspect low fuel pressure would cause both conditions.
When a brake line is leaking on the Chevy Venture the brake line should be replaced as soon as possible. A leak, however small, can cause hydraulic fluid to escape the brake line which will cause a loss in brake pressure. The brakes should be bled of air after the new line is put in to remove gaps in brake pedal pressure.
Fuel pressure regulator.
Yes solids can cause pressure
Low fuel pressure, stoped up fuel filter.
