Wow, that's an open ended question. Could be that-
You lost the keys.
It's out of gas.
The battery is dead.
The starter is dead.
The fuel filter is clogged.
The fuel pump is dead.
The distributor is dead.
The plugs are fouled.
The oil got so low the motor locked up.
The water got so low the motor got too hot and locked up.
The ignition switch is dead.
The ignition system is disconnected.
A critical fuse burned up.
A critical wire burned up.
The wire that opens the food container for the squirrel in the thingy is empty and the poor little fella died.
My '88 xlt starts cold but after heating up for half hour,i turn it off,but it cranks again but doesn't start.
There is no such thing as a 1938 bronco. Ford didnt start production of the bronco until 1966.

If for any reason you have to start all over again even if you have passed all your previous tests
Have the neutral safety switch checked. Pop the hood, hold a key across the screw posts on the solinoid. it should start......make sure ignition is on and truck in Neutral.
hold the shifter all the way up and try to start your bronco if it starts adjust the shift linkage and passing gear linkage if it stilldoesn't start replace the neutral safety switch
