The first thing I'd check would be to listen to your fuel pump to hear if it's running. It is located in the fuel tank. Open the driverside windom, turn on the key to the run position, without making the starter engage. You should hear the pump run if it is quite out side ( not a lot of traffic noise). Turn the key off and wait about 5 seconds and turn the key back on again. If you didn't hear the pump then it could be a worn out fuel pump.
I had same problem -- fuel pump went out.
does the vehicle crank at all or does it not do anything>: If the vehicle dose not crank be sure to have your headlights OFF. I know that this is a problem in my 1988 Z24.
Chevrolet first made a van out of the Corvair series in 1961. The Astro, which was very popular, began production in 1985. The Express is now their most popular.
Do you mean no crank/no start or crank/no start.... to put it simply, does the engine turn over?
I had the same problem in an old Chevrolet, and it turned out to be a short in the battery. Check it out.
Remove the plug from the A/C pressure sensor and short out the two connectors with a paper clip. This will turn on the compressor.
It could be your coil but then again I would have to see it to know.
plugs wires
sounds as if you may need a tune up bad cap and wires will contribute to not starting on rainy and damp days .hope this helps.
No, it will crank, but it will not start.
