many bad mechanics will put belts on tighter than specs or even ignoring specs thinking that a new belt should stretch which is wrong. Take your mr2 back to them, what you are hearing is the bearings in your alternator screaming bloody murder and from now on only take your mr2 to someone who is experienced with the Toyota mr2, it is an easy car for bad mechanics to screw up
Could be a loose or worn belt, or an accessory (water pump, alternator, etc.) bearing going out. Could even be a wheel bearing going out. Start by checking the condition/tension of the drive belt(s),
I know that squeals attract hogs if its coming from other hogs held a hog one time that was squealing and had about 8 come to it to help out
usually those high pitch squealing sounds are cause by a loose/slipping belt. just check the tension on your belts. the ac compressor and the alternator belt. also the ac compressor belt tensioner tends too rust and also make squealing noise. wd40
Check the tension on the belt; a loose belt will cause the battery voltage to go down because it may be slipping on the alternator and also squeals when you accelerate because the crankshaft is turning faster than the belt.
check your alternator belt, and your pulleys ,
I think it is the massive pressure of the water being let out at such fast speed that it makes a squealing noise
The alternator may be out of alignment. Put soap on the inside of the belt and it will turn the grooved part white enough to be able to see if the belt is not running straight. If the belt is all aligned on the lower pulleys and then jogs off to the side the higher it gets, it's the alternator in the back of the engine. There is an adjustment on the bracket that connects to the intake manifold, but most likely you'll have to take the alternator out and adjust the swivel part too. There is a spacer in the swivel part on the bottom of the alternator that you can hammer one way or the other. I had to put in a couple of washers to make up for the space on the other side. I hope this helps.
nothing to do with the battery it is probably a loose alternator belt or power steering belt
The door latch will need replaced.
When a car squeals while moving, but the brakes still work properly, it could be a squeal from a drive belt. It could also mean that something like a tire rim is rubbing on the brake rotor. A vacuum leak in a small hose under the hood will also cause a squealing noise.
From recent experience, the Alternator belt. It is easily tightened by loosening the top bolt and tightening the horizontal adjustment bolt.
if she is squealing when you touch her that might mean shes in pain so you should take her to the vet.
