That is the drain from the heater core housing. It will only leak coolant from there if the heater core starts leaking. This is to help prevent coolant from ruining your carpet/interior. You have a bad heater core. Time to replace it. Good luck!
It is a heater hose.
The nipple next to the heater core hoses is the drain tube for the a/c . The antifreeze is coming from the heater core , that is leaking .
chances are you have a cracked heater coil
you likely have a leaking heater core. Is this on the inside of the vehicle? if so then it defintately is a leaking heater core

To change the heater core on a Pontiac Aztek, locate the heater core on the firewall, passenger side of the vehicle. Remove bolts on the firewall and the clamps on the hoses. Take out the old heater core and replace with new. Tighten bolts and hose clamps. Then check to make sure the radiator is full of antifreeze.
Raise the froth of your car. Drain the radiator. Remove the heater tube from firewall and loosen the hose clamps. Lower the vehicle after draining the antifreeze. Locate the heater core and remove the mounting clamps. Remove the heater core and replace it.

There are two small (about 1 inch) hoses that carry antifreeze from the engine block to and then back from the heater core. This is a small radiator-like part that sits in the firewall, allows air to be blown through it to heat your car when you ask for heat. They can be located in several places but since they are connecting to a heater core in the firewall they are always in the back of the engine.
