The problem is probably that the high ration selector is not locating properly with pneumatic shifter. Remove the cover that is held in place with three bolts. Just above the prop shaft. You can then slide the ring assembly along the shaft by hand. Once it is moving in & out & locating correctly. Reassemble the cover taking care to not over tighten the bolts.
