1995 Mazda protege and you did a tune up on the car and changed the fule filter and the belts and your car still sputters and acts like it is going to shut off?

Check all spark plugs and ignition cables. Check your air filter to make sure it's not full of crap either. Run some SDP through the gas tank on the next fill up.
