1996 Ford explorer limited low beam not working?

I had the same problem. I tried the lamps and still no lights on drivers side low beams. The problem was a broken solder joint on the lamp out module located in the console under the message center. Keep looking under LOM and you`ll find a picture of the module and where the broken solder joint is located. the module is on the passenger wall of the console. it is a little hard to get to but you can do it. no cost just a little work.
