Try starting it. If it shuts off leave the key in the on position for at least 10 minutes. The theft light should quit flashing. Turn key off and then try to start it, it should start. If it persists in doing this try removing the steering column cover and disconnect, clean, and reconnect all connections. Sometimes corrosion, or bad contact is the issue
