Excessive stalling is often a problem with your idle air control valve (IAC). Before buying a new one, try removing and carefully cleaning yours with carbureator cleaner. Do not change the setting by turning the screw in valve, just clean it. It would also be benificial to see if the computer is storing any trouble codes, most auto part stores will do this for free now.
