If you have a 3.1 L 3100 V6 you can get to the front three spark plugs with a 5/8th socket for spark plugs. I would first do each spark plug one at a time, and once all three in the front are replaced i would start working on the back. The back three spark plugs are facing the firewall towards the windsheild. They cannot be easily seen. I had to take the spark plug wires off the coil pack, and then remove the coil pack. When you remove it you will also see the Evap Purge solenoid that sits on top of it. It can come out two if need be. Once the coil pack and the Solenoid have been disconnected the the last three spark plugs on the back are easier to get to. I had to sit on the intake manifold while having one hand reach for the back three. I strongly suggest to ensure the socket is seated properly when removing the back ones. Its hard enough not to see what your doing and by accident putting too much torque on the plug and there by stripping the threads in the block. I did not have to move the motor forward i just sat on it and did each one at a time. Good Luck
Look between the back of the engine and firewall The space is tight but you should be able to find rubber caps that cover up the spark plugs
