Clicking inside the steering column on the 1998 Plymouth Voyager sounds like a steering pump problem. It could also be that the steering box needs to be replaced. This should be looked at by a reputable mechanic as soon as possible.

The ignition switch for this vehicle is located on the steering column right by the steering wheel. It should be in easy reach to put your key in and go.Ê
The turn signal relay switch on a 98 Plymouth Grand Voyager Van should be on the steering column. Every vehicle will come with a manual that assists the driver in locating all of the different parts.
Remove the plastic casing that raps around the steering column just behind the steering wheel. 3 Phillips screws i believe. Then 2 screws on the drivers side of the steering column pulls off the switch. Pretty easy actually.
The main Ignition wire from the switch is dark blue, look under your steering column, and there are screws to separate a piece of plastic, directly behind your steering wheel, and you will see the dark blue wire coming from the switch
Fuse panel left side of the steering column
It is located on the fuse panel that is below the instrument cluster. Remove the plastic panel under the steering column (should be 2 plastic clips that turn with a screwdriver holding it in place).
On the steering column.ANS2 - On that model it's a lever on the left side of steering column, about halfway between wheel and dash.
Problem with multifunction switch in steering column
Fuses are located on the left hand side of the steering column, you need a phillip's (cross) head screwdriver #2 the panel saddle's the steering column.
The Turn Signal Switch is bad in the column and needs to be replaced.
