Underneath the drivers side seat, under the carpet.
It is a sensor with 2 wires going into it located between air filter and throttle body.
Replace the coolant temp sensor.
The IAT sensor, or Intake Air Temperature sensor, is typically located in the air duct between the air filter and the throttle body.
The IAT sensor (Intake Air Temperature) is an integral part of the Mass Air Flow sensor. If the IAT sensor must be replaced, you must replace the MAF sensor
On the air bag itself
the intake air temp sensor for an 07 Silverado is built into the MAF sensor. The MAF is located on the air intake hose.
It is in the air intake hose, going from air filter box to engine. It is closer to the air filter box then the engine.
IAT sensor location would be located on the Intake duct is a black 3-4" tubing. that comes out of you air filter box to you intake manifold.

The intake air temperature sensor on a 2004 Silverado is located in the 5 wire MAF sensor coming from the air fiter box. It can be relocated by cutting and splicing the tan and black wires going to the MAF sensor.
there isn't one on the 08 silverado
It is a sensor in the path of the air flowing between the air filter and the engine intake manifold.
It is built into the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR. On that year.
The 94 model does not have a MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR.
It is on the driverside of the throttle body where the air intake hose hooks to the engine. There are 2 sensors on that side, It is the bottom sensor not the top one.
I believe it is inside the Air Meter. It also can be called the mass air flow sensor.
The IAT ( idle air temperature ) sensor is built in to the MAF ( mass air flow ) sensor.
