Flush out the radiator, it could be pluged to the point its not cooling and will blow another hose or worse , head gasket. A good flush would be my choice. Good luck rick
Generally, if your car overheats with the proper level of antifreeze, either your water pump has gone bad (not circulating fluid), the thermostat is stuck, or your radiator is clogged up inside. -NAPAman
it can..rain has NOTHING to do with your radiator or the thermostat
try a radiator cap......or you have a head gasket leak.
thermostat
Low coolant? no Radiator plugged or restricted? posible Water pump not circulating coolant? new Thermostat not opening? new Cooling system airbound?no
Be sure the thermostat is not installed backwards.
check the water level, if its okay then you probably need a thermostat
Change your thermostat.
Coolant level? Cooling or clutch fan? Water pump circulating? System airbound? Hoses collapsing under pressure? Defective thermostat not opening? Defective radiator cap - not building pressure? Radiator plugged or restricted?
Have you had the rad. checked ?
Car overheats, your heat in your car stops working
When the engine overheats because thermostat won't open to allow the water to flow and cool!
