1998 intrigue with ac driver side blows hot and passenger side blows cold?

My 1998 Intrigue did the same thing after battery was replaced. Found the answer online. Turn the AC and car off, disconnect the battery, wait 5 minutes, open both front doors, reconnect the battery, start car, turn on the AC full cold. This resets the computer and the AC works perfectly!
