1999 Nissan frontier 4x4 with 135000 miles on it after about 3 miles of driving the tack jumps at random like its misfiring but nothing shows up on the obd2 or vehicle computer?

After I asked this question with no response for two weeks, I dug a little deeper and discovered that the bearings in my distributor were worn out. So when the distributor heated up, everything got sloppy. Changed it and fixed my problem ,but this is an excellent site. Just posted in case anybody had the same problem. Thank you for your time.
