in line with the ac lines there is a little screen filter in the line that filter could e clogged but the ac has to be discharged to find out. also the incorrect pressure of refrigerant can also make the ac not work properly

I have a 1999 blazer. The heater core clogs up about once a year from the Dexcool. Try having it (heater core) flushed and use Prestone (Extended life) instead of Texaco.

If it's blowing and you can tell the compressor is still kicking on when you turn the A/C on, the Coolant probably just needs to be recharged. Especially in a 9 year old car.
