I guess it depends on the income. If the Indian citizen doesn't earn the same as Americans then it's wrong. Also, it could also be personal values. I believe Americans see and want and the Indian civilian may see it different. They may buy what they need. So it pretty much depends on their views of the products they spend on and why.
