If it goes down the road OK, no. It's not your fuel pump. Does it need a tune up? Bad EGR valve? Lousey gas? Impossible to say.
minnestas climate in the summer is very hot but sometimes a little bit of a breeze!
Timing is probably off.
The most common cause of a engine revving up above losing acceleration is a transmission problem. The transmission may be low on transmission fluid
They are great little cars that get great mileage, are dependable, and are fun to drive. They are however no different than any other small car being sold in that they are not that quite, ride a little harsh, and the engine can be heard, especially during hard acceleration. In the small car, low priced market they are about as good as it gets.

The good: The Pantech Breeze II has a slim design with quick access keys, a 1.3-megapixel camera, 3G, a music player, stereo Bluetooth, and more. The bad: The Pantech Breeze II's keypad is a little flush to the surface of the phone.
When something is described as "a breeze," it means that it is easy, effortless, or simple to do. It implies that the task or situation is not challenging or difficult to handle.
In accord with my own experiences, the five-speed standard transmission Breeze will stall if there is too little acceleration (RPMs) as you let up the clutch too quickly. When this occurs, more likely during the warmer months of the year, and you immediately try to start again, then the fuel injector system dumps a second spray of fuel into the engine which wets out the plugs by what is called "flooding". In fact, the more times you try to restart, the greater the "flooding" becomes. To prevent the problem in the first place, listen to the engine RPMs as you properly let up the clutch. But the fastest remedy when stalling does occur is to sit and wait for the plugs to dry off before turning over the engine again. This could take up to five minutes, so if you're in traffic, put on your four-way flashers and don't let anyone in the car open any doors. Stay put while you're waiting for the plugs to dry off, or immediately call for help.
