If your sure the battery is good then check the connections. They should be clean and tight. You may have a start relay in the fuse box. You may try swapping it with another relay like the ac relay to see if it's working properly. Still no luck, try checking for power at the starter itself. You will need a testlight for this. They can be purchased at any parts store. If you have power going to the starter itself and it still will no turn over, your starter is probably bad and needs to be replaced or at least checked by a professional.
If it has the same orientation of the battery posts and will fit the holder then it will work.
go to walmart and use tha battery finder
Alternator is not charging. Have it tested and/or replaced.
Sounds like the battery went dead or you have loose/dirty battery connections.
Yes, you can jump start a 2002 Chevy Malibu. Remember to connect the right connections in order to preserve your battery.
The 2004 Chevy Malibu fuse box is located in the engine compartment. The fuse box will be behind the battery box.
Remove the positive battery cable from your 2000 Chevy Malibu battery. Remove the cables from the front of the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new starter.
You might have a bad battery, a poor connection between the battery and alternator, or a bad ground from the battery.
reincarnate your battery dudes XD
Engine seized? Loose or corroded battery cables? Bad starter solenoid? Bad starter? Bad neutral safety switch? Bad resistor or reader (if so equipped) at ignition?
Chevy did not build a Malibu in 1995.
