Assuming that you are able to remove the steering wheel with a steering wheel puller is should be bolts and wiring harnesses. Nothing to complex just be sure you mark the steering wheel were you took it off on the wheel and the column so you put it in the same spot or your wheel will be off while your car goes straight..
The "clockspring" carries power for steering wheel mounted accessories from the steering column into the steering wheel while at the same time allowing the steering wheel to rotate.
you need to replace the clockspring in the steering column
A clockspring controls the air bag, cruise control and the horn. I had mine replaced. On a Grand Caravan Dodge.
Probably a bad clockspring, be carefull that probably meens you're airbag is out of function too, Does the airbag light come on?
Bad relay/window motor/switch/wiring...........
In the steering colum behind the steering wheel and the air bag... but before working with the air bag consult a local shop. If not disconected properly you could be injured...

Most likely cause is the clockspring in the steering column. Call your local dealer with your vin number. Most of those vans had a recall on that part.
If the cause of the light was repaired, the light will turn itself off. The code will remain in the computer until a scan tool clears it.
how do i change to front brakes on a dodge durango?
Your clockspring has failed. That part may have a recall. Call your local dealer with the vin number and they can tell you for sure.
