The output is connected physically to the speaker itself.
The Apple Store itself.
The '98 Galant would not have a carburetor, but rather fuel injectors. I know on the '99-'03 the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank itself. Not 100% sure on '98, but they should be similar.
The Mitsubishi Gallant does not have a removable transmission filter. It is found within the internal workings of the transmission itself.
there should be a fuse for the audio system in the car fusing panel, but if for the speakers only- then that should be within the audio system itself.
If you can't find out the size of the speakers in your car on the internet or other sources, just take the existing speakers out and measure. the measurement of speakers is from the edge of the suspension on the speaker itself through the center of the speaker and to the other edge of the suspension of the speaker itself, NOT from the edge of the housing, edge of the metal or screw holes.
The brand of computer speakers does not have to be the same brand as the computer. It really makes no difference.
There is not a separate fuse in the fuse box for the speakers. If there is a 'fuse' for the speakers, it would be inside the audio system itself. See "Related Questions" below for more

Yup. More than likely the bigger cone (which produces the lower notes) is shot. But if you have an amplifier controlling the speakers, then maybe the Hz is just set too low to where the speakers itself cannot produce such sound and distorts (which is on its way to failing itself as well).
