The switch can pryed out from the front of the steering wheel. I've seen other posts saying you have to take the steering wheel off and risk damaging your airbags. Not true in my case! I simply took a small screwdriver and GENTLY pryed it out starting at the bottom and working my around the switch. A simple clip is all that connects it to the wire harness inside the steering wheel. Good luck.

2001 Buick Lesabre The cruise control wont work unless you keep the the on button held down while you hit sit cruise. How do you remove the Switch?

Replace the cruise control switch (the one with the orange light in it) The switch is a push on push off. If the little plastic gear inside the switch breaks off the switch will work like a door bell switch and will not latch on.

2000 buick lesabre cruise control won't work unless button in steering wheel is held down constantly?

Mine did the same thing. You can get a new switch from the dealer for about $32.00 and just pop the old one out with a small screw driver, unplug the wires, plug the new one in and snap it back into the steering wheel. Worked great for me.

Can cruise control make a car stall out?

Yes, you can. Manual cars also come with cruise control. no unless it is a manual transmission....manual transmissions dont come with cruise control. You can even purchase a manual transmission vehicle equiped with cruise control from an original manufacturer.

take it to a mechanic. Cruise control repairs are pretty difficult and unless you are real good and know what you are doing I would not mess with it.

Your 93 Grand Cherokee Limited shifts in and out of OD unless cruise control is off and then will not go into OD ideas?

I don't know the answer but it might help if you specify Chrysler or Toyota transmission. If you have a 6 cyl 93 Grand Cherokee without an overdrive button on the dash then its a Toyota transmission If you have the button it's a Chrysler unit. Good luck.

What nationalities work cruise ships?

What is the WS button next to the shifter on the S500 Mercedes Benz?

That button is like a traction control button. The W stands for winter. That's what the dealer told me. But he said don't activate the button unless you get stuck which why would you drive such a nice car in the snow. It also enables like all the horses at your control!!
