could be many things, most likely it needs oil, needs coolant, or it could just have a faulty thermostat, simple
cylinder 5 missfire detected. could be plug, wire, or bad coil...

more then likely it could be the temp, sending unit. or a bad wire to temp, sensor!!

A handful of things could cause this. But I'd say one of two; Blown Headgasket or a bad intake manifold gasket. Which the engine's of these cars are known for.
Could be a brake issue, a bearing issue, a tie rod issue, a CV joint issue. If you are not mechanical yourself, you should take it to a qualified mechanic to have it diagnosed. Any of these left unaddressed can cause more serious issue, some quite unsafe, especially in a Chevy Malibu.
The Chevy Malibu can get between 17 and 22 miles per gallon of gas on the road. It could even get to 26 to 33 miles per galon if you are in a highway.
If it's a severe vibration, expect a bad mount. If it's very slight, that might just be normal operation of the reciprocating engine.
