My schematic (from the manual) does NOT show a blue wire. Also, there are 2 oxygen sensors: 1 & 2.
It shows Pink (power for the heater) for both sensors.
Black is Ground for Sensor 2.
Black/White is a "Heater Control" for Sensor 1 (probably grounded by PCM to turn the heater on) .
Purple & Tan are wired to the actual sensor 1 lines.
Purple/White & Tan/White are the actual sensor 2 lines.
Take Care,
Greg

Look for a brass object with a two wire connector screwed into the intake near the thermostat housing.
The ABS sensor on ALL year Chevy Venture vans is located in the hub on the Left and right front tires. If the sensor is failing you unfortunately have to replace the entire hub. The barrings and the sensor are all sealed inside the hub. The ABS electrical connector is just behind the hub under the CV axle.
generally a cmp or a ckp sensor with three wires is a hall effect sensor, voltage, signal, ground.
Where is the camshaft sensor located in 1997 Chevy venture
where is the speed sensor for the transmission located in 2001 chevy venture
Hi, The Throttle Position Sensor is located on the back side of the throttle body, towards the firewall of the van. You may have to remove the big air intake hose to get to it. You should see three wires coming out of the electrical connector to the sensor. The colors are Black, Gray, and Dark Blue. If you find that connector with those 3 wire colors, you have found the sensor. Good Luck, Greg
if you have a digital volt meter, locate sensor on engine. key on engine off, ground black test lead, insert red test into rear of sensor connector.1 wire will be ground = 0.00 volts dc, 1 wire will be 5 volt dc reference voltage, and 1 wire will be signal voltage to the engine computer. i assume your getting a trouble code which is why your even checking this sensor.the signal voltage is why a code sets. if 2 wires are showing 5 volts then you have bad ground,or 2 wires showing 0.00 volts then sensor / wiring is either shorted to ground. these sensor do fail alot, probably is a bad sensor or maybe the tubes to it are damaged or disconnected.
If you look at your air intake tube you should see a connector going to it, that connector is going to your iat sensor. Ther is no connector on air intake tube but severl connector on intake manifold?
no cam sensor signal to pcm with crank sensor signal present. check for 5 volt ref and ground at cam sensor connector. scope cam signal. most likely cam sensor defective, hall effect type sensor
Follow the wir from the sensor to the connector
