First thing to do is check to see if all your plug wires are on the right plugs, you need to know the firing order to do this, the easiest way to get the firing order is by calling the part store and giving them the engine size, once you've made sure all the wires are right, if that hasn't fixed it check the timing. Also, some of these replacement caps have an issue with arching. Pull the cap off, flip it over and look for signs of arching through the plastic; probably a little white dot on the gray plastic from the coil conductor.
