(1) There is no "re-set" for the Supplemenal Restraint System (SRS) (also known as the airbags). It is a 'no-tamper' safety feature that is direct wired to the vehicles computer module. It is either operational or it isn't. If the SRS warning light is on, it quite possibly means that the airbag system is either malfunctiioning or is not operational. Get it to a dealer ASAP. DO NOT TAMPER WITH WIRING YOURSELF! You could deploy the bags and injure yourself.

The do it your self answer is as follows: To reset the SRS you first must (a) locate the small yellow two pin wire harness under the driver side lower dash just above your fuse box to the upper right. (b) Disconnect it. Once disconnected get a paper clip and straighten it out so you have two ends to connect into the wire harness contact points. (c) Insert both ends securely with the ignition off. (d) Turn the ignition on. (d) Wait until the SRS light starts to blink. It will blink for 6 seconds then shut off. (e) Once the light is off disconnect the paper clip. (f) Wait for the light to come back on again then connect the paper clip. (g) Once the light turns off again disconnect the paper clip. If the entire SRS system is good then the light will blink twice and remain off. If there is something wrong in the system the light will remain on and you will not be able to reset it.
