Where is the fuel shut off on 2002 aztek
Check the driver belt, tensioner and the a/c clutch and compressor.......
to reset the computor..all you have to do is take the negative battery cable off for about 10 min. then tighten back on. tada!
Ebay. Type in the Pontiac Aztek and all the parts and accessories that everyone have for sale pop up. I bought my console cooler off of Ebay.
Removing the serpentine belt on a Pontiac Aztek requires loosening the adjustment pulley. Once the pulley is loose the serpentine will have enough slack to come off.
Umm... i think you are referring to the air self levelling system which levels the aztek according to the load. When you shut off the vehicle you will hear the air release after a few minutes. i believe that is what you are hearing.
This link has many helpful diagrams. There should also be one under your hood by the belt labeled Accessory Drive Belt Routing. So if you find the diagram on your car you can match it to the diagram in this link and it will even tell you what to loosen to get the belt off. http://www.2carpros.com/car_repair_information/tec_info/2001/pontiac/aztek/2001_pontiac_aztek_drive_belt_routing_diagram.htm
To replace a turn signal switch on a 2003 Pontiac Aztek, also known as a flash relay, the steering column must be removed. The flash relay is located under the turn signal. Remove the mounting hardware and the unit can be taken off.
Might be a stuck brake light switch its located at the top of the brake pedal
Had the same problem. Found it to be a bad ground wire for the headlights. There are two ground wires for the headlights, both are directly below the battery. You can see one of them if you remove the drivers side headlight. It is right behind the radiator hose. The other is a few inches from that one.
I called Pontiac there is no cfuel cut off switch.
I wish I knew a better answer. My Aztek's lights can be turned off by turning the key to off position and then manually rotating the light button on the top left one click clockwise and then back all the way to the left. If I do this before I turn the key off, the damn thing will turn the lights back on again. Wish I had a better answer. It is clear that the Aztek designers thought God knew best when to turn its lights off and on.
