I think the person means the heater blower motor and not a radiator fan motor
How do I replace the heater core in a Chevy express 1500
2004 Chevy express van, heater has no high speed, at one time the blower stayed on even when the ignoton was turned off therefor draining the battery,
you need a new alternator
take your vehicle to a licensed mechanic
The block heater is standard on most Trailblazers. The cord is attached under a flap against the battery.
It may or may not have a block heater. If it does then the power cord will be located near the battery behind the grill.
Zip tied to the passengers side battery wiring harness.
First off, the block heater is an option, yours might not even have one. My 2002 Chevy had a block heater, and the chord was right next to the battery.
To change the heater core in a 1963 Chevy Impala, disconnect the negative battery cable and loosen the radiator cap. Remove glove box door and remove wiring connected to the heater core. Then remove the heater core from under the dash and replace with new.
if its a new battery then you need to replace your alternator. It basically recharges your battery while the vehicle is running.
Just disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect.
you must of recently disconnected your battery. make sure both terminals are tight. Drive around for a day and the problem should go away.
