The engine should be at normal running temperature. Make sure to shift slowly through all the gears and return to Park before checking. If you've been driving on the highway or been working the engine excessively, be sure to let the engine cool for about 30 minutes, then return to normal running temperature. -Kevin
first leave the car running, open the hood and towards the windshield you'll see a red dip stick that's where you check the tranny fluid. not all car`s have a dip stick tho
Check the lines for the transmission fluid that run to and from the radiator. It could also be a bad gasket.

put tranny in park. make sure its hot and check fluid while egne is running. should be in the cross hatch section on the dip stick.
spy glass on side of tranny. it is of course a sealed tranny.
check the tranny fluid ASAP. or it could just mean your tranny is worn out. but check that fluid now
There is a tranny dipstick that is not visible from the top. If you look under the car there is a dipstick near the upper control arm.
You pour the tranny fluid into the transmission dipstick tube. Use a long skinny funnel if you need to. and remember to always check the tranny fluid while the truck is running and has been warmed up at least 60 seconds.
If it is a manual, YOU DONT HAVE ONE. Because you dont need to check the tranny fluid unless you have a leak, at which time you should be on your way to a mechanic
Auto or stick shift? If its a stick - there is a dip stick, look for the master cylinder, then look down. It's located really far down - rght on the back of the tranny.
Pull the transmission dip stick out , and make sure oil is showing on it . You need to take it for a drive and get the tranny fluid warmed up and then with the engine running and tranny in park , check the fluid on the dip stick . If the fluid is showing on the right mark on the dip stick you are good .
In the 2000 voyager,you will needto find the yellow dipstick and remove it , then get a funnel and put it in the hole and pour tranny fluid in. make sure you have the vehicle running to check the fluid level.. a littleless isokbut to much will damage the tranny. you are welcome, Paul
