it is possible that u may have used a wire that is also used in the same circuit as the dash lights which would cause a parrellel path for the current and therefore might not be neccesarily supplying enough current to the dash lights was the stereo put in by a proffesional
run a wire from the battery to the radio with an inline fuse... or check ur fuses and see if its blown
I just had this problem. i opened my stereo up and found that one of the three small glass fuses was blown. got a new one at radioshack today.
just pull them one by one and replace them if blown. if it ain't blown when you pull it put it back in the same hole.
Hey Tommy==Check the fuses. Evidentally there is one blown and you will have to find out what caused it. Good luck Joe
Your radiator cooling fan may be defective. Have it checked buy a professional. This could lead to a harness fire if you keep putting fuses in/ Blown fuses indicate too heavy of load on wires. Get it fixed.
fuses are blown, or bulbs are blown
Check the stereo fuses and all wiring connections for any problems. If the wiring and fuses are ok then it is an internal problem and the stereo will need to be replaced.
yes
I was putting in a new stereo in my car and i was pushing with a screwdriver to pushing the wires throw i cause the lights interior not working and the clock keeps going back one oclock when turned off and car door bleeper and stereo not work at all You probably blew a fuse, check the fuses.
Check the other fuses. Mine did the same thing and it was the Horn fuse that had blown. The bass power is on a separate circuit.
The cause of this issue can be blown fuses in the car. If the fuses are not blown, there is a fault in the electrical system.
That is a definite possibility, along with blown fuses, burnt wires, etc. That is a definite possibility, along with blown fuses, burnt wires, etc.
