It sounds like something related to the BCM (Body Control Module). On my Vue, the BCM was not the problem, it was the Battery Feed fuse.
Be careful replacing this fuse as a lot of current goes through it! I made the mistake of leaving the battery connected and the doors open. Nice sparks and melting of the replacement fuse terminal!

That depends on the problem. If it's just a battery problem, replace the battery and follow the instructions on the inside of the fob. If the fob has failed, Saturn requires that you take it to a dealer to program the replacement fob.
